Access Control
Maintaining security in your facility comes down to controlling access. Deciding which and when staff need to enter an area is a very time consuming task. If you have more then ten people who need to arm and disarm your security system then you have large system.

Card and Chip Access
Many facilities find the use of a card or chip to be the best system access device. Authorized staff are issued a card or chip that is a unique device. Use of the device is recorded in the main system file which only you have access to. If a card or chip is lost or stolen you simply program the device out of the system. You never need worry about that card showing up some time in the future and compromising the system. Both chip and card readers come in weatherproof enclosures for durable year round use.

Code Number Access
The push button code has been around for many years and is the preferred choice for many facility managers. When staff access is under fifty people, using unique code access entry control is both very reliable and inexpensive. When staff change, you simply remove the unique code from the system and you security is maintained.

Other Access Controls
A large variety of access control devices are available today. Eye scan, fingerprint and voice recognition are all devices which may be appropriate for your facility. We'll work with in designing the right approach to meet you needs.

Programming Access Devices
Regardless of the access system you choose, maintaining the system is the hard job. We're here to help you create the best maintenance package for your needs. Intrusion Sensors
Security systems use sensors to detect intrusion. Sensors are specialized by shape and detection method. These devices have the ability to sense a variety of physical alterations including motion, body heat, forcing of a door, and window movement. Sensors can also be installed to detect sounds, including the sound of breaking glass, talking, and custom-tuned sounds.

Active sensors are those that detect physical movement. Passive sensors are constantly sensing the environment, and when the environment alters more than a preset value a signal is sent from the sensor to the control panel for analysis. The control panel interprets the signals from all the sensors in the house of building and determines what action to take based on your instructions. We can design a system than allows you to choose what the system will do under certain circumstances.

Testing and Maintenance
At Keyes North Atlantic we provide specially trained and licensed personnel to perform all required testing and maintenance to ensure your system continues to operate properly. We can also provide testing or service contract coverage for systems installed by others.
